OUR PURPOSE
What We Believe In
The purpose is to promote family resilience and reunification by providing services and tools that children and families can utilize while children are placed in our care and during reunification. MGF pays strong attention to how trauma is manifesting to understand how to treat the child and what evidence-based practice to use. Youth placed are provided with integrated care that includes repeated exposure to predictable, reliably regulating, and relational experiences that through repetition begin to heal past experiences.
.
OUR SUCCESS
The Results of Our Services
Since opening, MGF has been successful in transitioning over 50% of all youth in the program to a lower level of care or back to their families or lower levels of care. As a result, many youths have been successful in completing their educational goals, decrease substance abuse, achieved emotional wellbeing, permanency goals and entered transitional housing programs and are gainfully employed. Mindful Growth Foundation partners with community-based organizations in Los Angeles County to improve youth outcomes and provide support needed to grow and thrive.
